FUN section, 1 recommended portage at this level, one must do waterfall, just boof left, one probably should portage, but all lines run resulted in no injuries. Side winder should be walked,Lava Dam was sweet, be careful as it is severely back cut. If you go in behind the falls plan on working hard to get out, or waiting for some one to swim in for you while they are roped. NOT ME. Off Ramp best run on far right, be careful of a hidden rock in middle of what looks like a good line. Impact is violent and it immediately throws you into the slot, the slot is shallow and very powerful. You go deep, in the pool and resurface about 20 yards down and heading for a wall, which you will hit. Boat scout everything else. Lots of eddies and pool drop. Heard it is best run at higher flows, Sidewinder fills in better with less percentage of impacts on river left undercut hammer rock. It is likely your boat nose shape will get rearranged on this run. Off ramp would have more water making it cleaner to launch off the right side. Give each drop respect the two least likely looking holes to cause any problems did. A girl got seriously hammered in one, sending her boat and paddle downstream without her, the other caught me and I had a little 360 action trying to get of it. Run out after off ramp was boney with a couple surprise drops at the end. Reminds me of the WF Hood, Low water Tum Water ledge drops. Lots of holes and pour overs. My advice is , " If in doubt Boof it."

Paddle Safe, enjoy the waters.

I'm glad you finally got on it Jim. It sounds like a blast. So when are we all heading back to do it? Next weekend is bad for me....again. How about March 12 depending on flows. I'm also trying to get some vacation on the 13th so I can stay the night after watching Twitch V.

If the water is there, we could do it on the weekend of the Twitch V show. The White Salmon could be slithering with plastic......

Paddle Safe, enjoy the waters.
