Friday we headed to Mill Creek. It was running about 600. Enough water to have fun and see the potential for an epic run at 1000. We ran from a small diversion dam to a bridge Friday where most of the fun was. We went back Saturday to check out SF Walla Walla which had potential, but turned out to be a relative bust due to badly placed wood. It was basically like a small Tieton with dangerous wood. We hiked, but didn't run it. We went back to Mill Creek and the water weas lower than Friday and not as much fun as Friday. We never found Missionary hole. It's going to take a local to point that out, but we MUST have passed it since we ran all the way to the K mart and the creek was too wide to be any fun at all at that level. One thing of note is the wier structures on the outlet end where the creek re emerges from town, is that to us it looked better than the named run. I would like to go back and explore that, or hopefully get beta from the locals on it. It looked like more water and better features at the level we saw them. The ones on the outlet side of town may get sticky at higher levels.
